This is the world’s first official publication from the constructed Jamaican Oy’Nissh Language (Oy’Nissh). Terinéssha means “a call to hope” and was written during the second coronavirus lockdown in Scotland 2021. It was written out of the need to exit and survive loneliness, threat of depression, and the need to invent or create a way to make a living. The entire Veeliksa, or Oy’Nissh characters were created during time this which now resulted in you seeing the future of modern Jamaican linguistics in calligraphy form. This is the poem in Oy’Nissh using alphabet (Gwaifermer).
