A millvrant (qqíhryn) totnissh with a floral white background. This is an original design from the newly constructed Jamaican Oy’Nissh Language (Oy’Nissh) with the pattern being part of the totnissh class. Totnissh is a floral cluster from the Oy’Nissh character (Veeliksa) called nigréryn which is a fishlike design that means destined in English.
The first use of the nigréryn was from the first published work form the language called Terinéssha (A Call to Hope) which is a poem about destined to overcome the challenges of life through encouraging oneself. It was written during the summer of 2020 in Edinburgh but completed in Veeliksa (character) form by March of 2021 in Tranent.
It means that for the first time in history you are purchasing a product with a constructed Jamaican language with characters that are also designs. It serves as encouragement for the bride to be to hold fast and look to a brighter future, tandem to living temperate and healthy in all things good. It is also a great gift for female students at high school, college, or university here in Edinburgh, Scotland, and throughout the UK.
